Cathy, i love your photo!&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">trenchard</dc:creator><pubDate>Sat, 25 Apr 2009 16:47:01 -0000</pubDate></item><item><title>Re: Blogfession: Part Sept</title><link>http://www.booktin.com/authors/dr-trenchard-cleats/blogfession-part-sept/#comment-11108605</link><description>&lt;p&gt;I vote yes.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;What harm could it do?&lt;br&gt;a) it could put people off if they don't like it - but these people are unlikely to have been tempted by the finished product anyway, so you're not losing anything.&lt;br&gt;b) someone could copy it... but you'd have very clear proof that they had done, having posted it on a certain date - before which they couldn't possibly prove they had written it.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;What good could it do?&lt;br&gt;a) it could generate a base of impatiently waiting readers-to-be just chomping at the bit to throw their love and money at the finished product.&lt;br&gt;b) you'll get feedback - useful or otherwise yet to be seen. Positive feedback will motivate you to keep on keeping on... negative feedback is a bit of a bugger, but could also be annoyingly useful. You might even get some ideas...&lt;br&gt;c) a millionaire publisher may fall in love with it and you'll have that sports car before you know it.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Before beginning this project, make sure you have to hand:&lt;br&gt;a) balls of steel&lt;br&gt;b) a thick skin&lt;br&gt;c) an open mind&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Cathy</dc:creator><pubDate>Sat, 25 Apr 2009 11:27:32 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
