Cathy, i love your photo!</p>trenchardSat, 25 Apr 2009 16:47:01 -0000http://www.booktin.com/authors/dr-trenchard-cleats/blogfession-part-sept/#comment-11108605<p>I vote yes.</p><p>What harm could it do?<br>a) it could put people off if they don't like it - but these people are unlikely to have been tempted by the finished product anyway, so you're not losing anything.<br>b) someone could copy it... but you'd have very clear proof that they had done, having posted it on a certain date - before which they couldn't possibly prove they had written it.</p><p>What good could it do?<br>a) it could generate a base of impatiently waiting readers-to-be just chomping at the bit to throw their love and money at the finished product.<br>b) you'll get feedback - useful or otherwise yet to be seen. Positive feedback will motivate you to keep on keeping on... negative feedback is a bit of a bugger, but could also be annoyingly useful.
